Celebrate Your Birthday with a Creative Twist!

Birthdays aren’t just for kids – adults deserve something special too! Why not spend a couple of inspiring hours at the museum with your favourite people?

Our Adult Birthday Workshop is designed for groups of 5–12 participants and includes a guided tour of the museum’s permanent exhibition plus a hands-on craft session led by an instructor.

Want to add a treat break? No problem! You can bring your own refreshments, and we’ll provide dishes if agreed in advance. There’s even a coffee and tea corner available.

Choose one creative theme for your workshop:
  - Folding notebooks with intuitive painting and mixed media
  - Sculpting small decorations from air-dry clay
  - Making brooches from surplus leather and other materials
  - Exploring Japanese bookbinding techniques
  - Twisting wire into decorative frames or sculptural shapes
  - Sewing soft “comfort creatures” to brighten everyday life
