Museum and a bachelorette party? Why not!

Gather your group and make your celebration unforgettable with a creative and fun experience at the Craft Museum of Finland.

Your session begins with a guided tour of the permanent exhibitions, where you’ll discover what skills were once considered essential before marriage and what traditional bridal trousseaus included. Together, we’ll imagine what a modern-day trousseau might look like and explore what makes objects meaningful.

Then it’s time to roll up your sleeves for a hands-on craft workshop – and finish with a toast of non-alcoholic bubbly!

Choose one fabulous theme for your workshop:

  - Bow-making – create stunning bows from leather, fabric and lace, decorated with beads, ribbons and studs. Perfect for hair, brooches, necklaces or as a stylish bag accessory.

  - Embroider your own monogram – turn it into a mini artwork, brooch or clothing label.

  - Sew and embroider your personal power word – frame it as a motivational piece.

  - Sewing soft “comfort creatures” – craft quirky, comforting companions.

  - Design your own badges of honour – using ribbons, buttons and metallic foil.
