Creative Moment Workshop

Looking for the perfect activity for a larger group, such as a team away day? Our Creative Moment Workshop is designed for work teams and groups who want to add something inspiring to their programme. No previous craft experience is needed – the focus is on enjoyment, collaboration, the fun of experimenting and discovering your own creative style. You might even uncover hidden talents in yourself or your colleagues!

The session begins with a short guided tour of the museum’s exhibitions , followed by hands-on crafting based on your chosen theme. Gather your group, create with your hands and refresh your mind at the same time!

Choose one creative theme for your workshop:
  - Personalised tote bag decoration – paint, stamp, draw or embroider your own design. Two sizes available: small and large.
  - Wire art – twist wire into sketch-like designs or sculptural forms.
  - Accessories from surplus leather – create small jewellery pieces, wristbands or decorative items.
  - Emboss your image in metal – turn a design into a textured metal foil artwork.

Did you know? In the past, marking objects with names was believed to protect them – and their owners – from the evil eye!
