The collections of the museum library have nearly 10 000 titles. The collection grows with new purchases made, based on the museum staff's wishes as well as with donations. With the help of donations, the museum has succeeded in supplementing the older literature in the collection. The library's collections also include both domestic and foreign magazines.

The oldest volumes of the collection of the Library of the Craft Museum of Finland are from the beginning of the 20th century, the first library catalog has been prepared already in 1911. The collection includes handicraft and home industry book treasures from the late 19th century.
