The exhibition celebrates over one hundred years of Lahtiset felt heritage, which has grown from felt boots into a versatile range of felt products. Over the decades, the company has endured wars, pandemics, and shifts in consumer behavior, yet has continued to thrive.

Lahtiset is a family business, that proudly carries the Made in Finland mark, serving both domestic and international customers. The exhibition tells the story of Lahtiset from its founding in 1921, focusing on the unique material of felt. It highlights the work and ingenuity of four generations and presents the processes of felt production and craftsmanship.

Alongside the exhibition, visitors can take part in lectures, workshops, and events. A special feature is a public workshop where anyone can try creating objects from felt. The exhibition also includes a video installation in which three generations share stories about Lahtiset history and their personal relationship with felt.

A sales exhibition "Lahtiset Felt" in the Window gallery completes the extensive exhibition.
