Suomenlinnassa sijaitseva keramiikkatyöhuone Pot Viapori on taiteen tekemisen, kohtaamisten sekä omalaatuisen ympäristön ja historian muovaama paikka. Image Pot Viapori
Body

Finnish word PAIKKA can be translated as a place or a patch. It can mean exact coordinates, a concrete place where you can make ceramics, a patch that corrects something that is broken and in a wider sense even as a state of mind.

Ceramic studio Pot Viapori at Suomenlinna is a special place. It has left its mark on those who work or have worked there and those who just visit the place.

The theme of the exhibition has been approached with a strong nature experience, and through sociality and human presence. From these perspectives, Pot Viapori’s 50th anniversary exhibition is a meeting in a place, a moment in time. It brings together colleagues using the same material and having experiences of the same place, Pot Viapori.
Now they share a glimpse of their own world. A condensation of something shared together. Material, expression, art and life.
