Guided tours

For groups we recommend touring the exhibitions under the guidance of the guide. Pre-ordered guided tours will be organized in the time that you wish. We will be happy to tailor a tour to your group.

For guided tours, the ideal size is 25 people, for larger groups we recommend two guides. There is a lot to see in the museum, so after the guided tour you should also book some time to explore the museum.

Guided tour
Get acquainted with the basic exhibitions of the museum and the Finnish National Costume Center and the changing exhibitions.

Let's get to know the current changing main show. The museum also has other small changing exhibitions.

Under the guidance of an expert, we will tour the Dressed with Pride exhibition, the small temporary exhibition in Kuja and the activities of the National Costume Center of Finland.

The cost of school and student guidance is half the normal price.

Guidance prices

Basic price for a guided tour in English:
Guided tours Tue-Fri 11-18 85,00 € (VAT 0%). 
Guided tours on weekends, when museum is open 115,00 € (VAT 24%)

Terms and Conditions of Guided tours

Guided tours must be booked preferrably two weeks in advance.
Guided tours can be cancelled free of charge 5 days before the booked time.
The guide is available 15 minutes before the booked time and waits for the group up to 30 minutes from the start of the reserved time.
If the group wants the guide to wait longer, the waiting time for each starting hour is € 20. The guide remains only if he has no other commitments.
If a guide has not been cancelled in time (5 days prior), the full amount will be charged.
